QGeo is a project by Maurizio Fazio, created to give schools a simple and reliable tool for teaching and learning the geography of Italy.
Why QGeo
Geography is learned by looking at the map, exploring it and testing yourself. Teachers need tools that are ready to use in class, reliable in their content and respectful of pupils.
QGeo brings together in one place the map for the lesson, the cards of the territories and quizzes for the class, with the most up-to-date official data.
Our principles
- Official data and declared sources: borders and population come from ISTAT, and every source and licence is listed in the credits.
- No pupils' data: they play without accounts and without giving personal data.
- Free and ad-free today.
- For everyone: it works in the browser, on PCs, whiteboards and tablets, with a high-contrast theme and a colour-blind-friendly one.
